3.1 Core Architecture
Each $AET issuance is backed by a specific, revenue-generating real estate asset or asset portfolio. Legal ownership of the underlying property is held by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) established in the jurisdiction of the asset. Beneficial economic interest in the SPV — and therefore in the property itself — is represented by security tokens issued on a permissioned blockchain infrastructure. $AET is therefore a real-world asset (RWA) security token: each token represents a beneficial economic interest in a specific, identifiable property.
